Take a look around our new look site. The full schedule for 2010 is now complete, so you’ll find all the old familiar items as well as a few new options and our judge’s recipes for 2010. They’re delicious.
Don’t forget that we are looking for the heaviest marrow in the village. THERE’S £5 FOR THE WINNER.
We are also featuring a paper AEROPLANE COMPETITION. Not quite on the lines of the Farnborough Air Show, but still spectacular, so let’s see how many Concordes appear over the skies of Horsell on 24th July!
As well as our popular plant stall, look out for our bring, browse and buy book stall. Who can resist a good read? If you have any great RAFFLE PRIZES you would like to donate please call 01483 762621 and we’ll come along to collect your donation.
It will be a great day out for all the family – put it in your diary – 24th JULY 2010
We’ve got loads of people to thank for their support including:
Horsell Residents’ Association, Horsell Allotment Society, The Red Lion, Tune-Up, Arrow Offset Printers, Needle & Thread, Cadburys, Green & Blacks, Horsell’s WI’s and all our Judges, Visitors and Exhibitors!
Without your help there wouldn’t be a show.
Are you any good at making paper planes? We’ve got 2 competitions, one for kids 6 – 9 (See Children’s Entries, Class 94) and another for everyone else who’d like to join in (See Fun and Novelty Class 88). You’ll need to throw your plane further than anyone else – but at least you’ll get 3 goes at it. Don’t forget to use our entry form if you plan to have a go – and we suggest you decorate your plane so that it stands out from the rest. You can use an A4 piece of paper or card and lots of imagination! If you need some inspiration check out our design in our schedule or in The Resident magazine. Good luck.
We are looking for the heaviest marrow at this year’s show. Get sowing in April/May- any variety you choose and bring it along on 24th July. We’ve got one class for adults and another for children and there’s £5 for whoever manages to produce the heaviest marrow …
We are always looking for new committee members. If you are new to the area and would like to get involved, or if you’ve attended the Show for years and would like to contribute to its ongoing success, please call 01483 762621 and come and join us.
